Rishi Das-Gupta is chief innovation and technology officer at the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Foundation Trust, a leading specialist healthcare provider focused on helping patients with cardiac and respiratory diseases. He is responsible for the transformation of care models across the hospital, coordination of innovation and quality improvement and for technology and informatics. Prior to this he was director of innovation at UCLH and worked as a hospital operational manager and medical doctor. Rishi has spent the last 6 years focused on effecting technology-enabled clinical and operational change to improve patient care and experience. From 2003 to 2013 he worked as a strategy consultant at Oliver Wyman and McKinsey and Company. His experience includes projects developing and implementing health policy at a regional and national level in the UK and USA. In addition to his primary medical qualification (M.B., B.S.) Rishi holds an M.A. in law (University of Cambridge) and an M.B.A. (London Business School).
