about me

Christina Brunnschweiler worked for Spitex for two decades, more recently as CEO of Spitex Zürich Limmat and co-CEO of Spitex Zürich until her retirement at the end of 2022. Before this, she was managing director of Spitex Vitalis. In the 1990s, she worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers as principal for consultant process improvement and vice-president of SAP Consulting. Christina came from the world of IT and finance, and from 1982 to 1990, she worked as vice president at MOR Informatik AG and Spectrospin AG, responsible for finance, HR, administration, and IT. Christina was a member of the board of directors of an integrated psychiatric care organisation (president) as well as of a large rehabilitation group and long-term care institution. She obtained her degree (lic. oec. HSGf) from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

On 24 August 2023, Christina passed away following an illness. Christina was a valued member of the Sciana Network who wanted to "improve public health in a very hands-on manner." The Sciana Network is grateful for her contribution to the field of public health and the opportunities the Network and its Fellows had to work alongside her.
