about me

Adrian is the Chief Analyst for the North-West Region in NHS England. Adrian is responsible for a large portfolio of analytical work to monitor, evaluate and provide insights to deliver improvements to health and care for the 7.4 million citizens across the North-West. He is also Senior Responsible Officer for the NW Region Sub National Secure Data Environment programme and Chair of both the Northwest AI Steering Group and the Northwest Skills Development Board.

 

Prior to joining NHS England, Adrian spent three years leading data and analytics at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence [NICE], where he still acts as an advisor. Before this he held a variety of roles across central government, including being Principal Analyst for Home and Foreign Affairs (Prime Minister’s Implementation Unit) & Head of Profession for Operational Research within the Cabinet Office, and before that the Head of Analysis within the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. He is part of the international Sciana Health Leaders Network and currently co-chair of the Digitalization and Responsible AI Working Group within the WHO Strategic Partners’ Initiative for Data and Digital Health. Adrian is part of the faculty at Imperial College London that teaches the Digital Health Leadership programme and holds further roles as both a Council Member of Lancaster University and Non-Executive Director at a Multi Academy Trust in Greater Manchester.
