Alisha Davies is Deputy Director of Research, Data and Digital at Public Health Wales and Head of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Digital Health Equity. She provides system-level leadership across public health, data, and digital innovation to improve population health and reduce inequalities. Alisha leads national and international research and evaluation programmes, builds high-performing multidisciplinary teams, secures competitive grant funding, and works across sectors to harness linked data, social sciences, and AI-driven methods for public good. She established and co-Chairs the Faculty of Public Health AI and Digital Health Group, and The Alan Turing Institute Clinical AI Group, holds operational board roles for NIHR and Our Future Health, and appointed as Wales lead for Public Health Research by Health and Care Research Wales. An NHS Consultant in Public Health, she holds a PhD in epidemiology, an MSc in demography, and an Honorary Professorship.
