leadership vision

Leading with kindness - by listening, reflecting, being inclusive and encouraging people to collaborate and change the status quo.

about me

Marc Augustin is a trained psychiatrist and professor at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Bochum. His clinical interest in psychopharmacology overlaps with a broader research interest in mental health and care for particularly vulnerable groups. He studied at the RWTH University Aachen and completed his residency at the University Hospital Aachen, including a one year rotation in the Department of Neurology. His experience also included clinical work in the areas psychooncology, psychosis and ambulatory care. He holds a Master of Health Business Administration (M.H.B.A.) of the University of Erlangen / Nuremberg. As a member of Generation PSY (http://www.generation-psy.de), the youth section of the German Association for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics (DGPPN e.V.), he dedicates spare time to promote education in the field of psychiatry and to spark interest in medical students for mental health.
