Claire Chabloz, MD MSc eMBA, is the Strategic Initiatives Lead within the Medical Directorate of the University Hospital of Lausanne. As a research associate at the University of Freiburg, she focuses on advancing Value-Based Care. She brings together international MedTech and hospital experience to turn concepts into actionable projects that strengthen quality, safety, and patient outcomes. Her mission is to contribute to a healthcare system that is high-performing, humane, and sustainable.

Before joining the CHUV, she served as Medical Director at Johnson & Johnson MedTech France (2018–2024), where she led the national VBHC program, built strategic partnerships with clinical and patient leaders, and developed advisory boards and evidence-based training for cross-functional teams.

Previously, as Medical Director at CEPPRAAL, a French regional nonprofit dedicated to healthcare quality and patient safety, she advised healthcare professionals, evaluated improvement programs, and led major change initiatives.
