Leadership for me is the combination of being authentic, accessible to everyone, and generating the space and opportunity for everyone in my team to thrive through leading their own work. My job is to give the team space for their energy and ideas, by helping them resolve problems, remove barriers (mental and bureaucratic), and create new connections. I'm only as successful as they are!
I joined the Sciana network because I get most of my inspiration and ideas from conversations with people who share my interests, but look at them from different angles, perspectives or industries.
The diversity of the Sciana network, and great peer relationships it has offered me across countries, have been an integral part of my professional development. And it has allowed me to connect across both my home countries, Germany and the UK.
