about me

Artur Olesch is a Berlin-based freelance journalist and correspondent for public health- and health-IT-related topics in the EU. After graduating from the University of Economics in Katowice (Poland), he worked for a leading health-IT company where he discovered a passion for digital health. The shift towards journalism has allowed him to have a real impact on health policy. Today he is editor-in-chief of ICT&Health International (Netherlands) and OSOZ (Poland) magazine, founder of the news portal aboutDigitalHealth.com, and health tech influencer on social media. He is cooperating with the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), a not-for-profit organization aiming to improve healthcare quality, safety, and access through the use of information technology. He mentors startups in developing and rolling out new ideas, advise healthcare organizations on digital strategies, and lectures at the "MBA Healthcare Management" program (Warsaw School of Economics and Warsaw Medical University). Artur's goal is to explore the potential of digitalization in building resilient health systems for the future with the principle of "health for all" in the forefront.
