Claudia Schade is the CEO of Spitex Canton Zurich, the largest home treatment association in Switzerland. Outpatient care provided by Spitex, which is commissioned by the municipalities, plays a central key role in nursing care. Claudia's also involved in various committees, boards and commissions. She pleads for primary care as an interprofessional system in an integrated care structure, convinced that so it will be possible to manage the future's challenges in the system. As a person with many interests she's always trying to find new collaborations. Earlier in her career she was Deputy Secretary General of the Swiss Society of General Internal Medicine (SSGIM) and thus committed to Smarter Medicine/ Choosing wisely Switzerland. She also worked as a project manager for the Office of Economic Affairs/Aargau Services. Claudia holds a Master of Law from the University of Berne.
