Valerie Kirchberger is a physician dedicated to transforming the healthcare system into a patient-centric, outcome-oriented model. Her medical career began with a desire to impact individual lives, but she soon realized her true calling was in systemic change. Valerie's focus shifted to outcome data, essential for enhancing care quality. At Charité, she led the implementation of patient-reported outcome measures and spearheaded value-based healthcare initiatives. Since 2021, Valerie has been with Heartbeat Medical Solutions in Berlin, advancing PROMs for healthcare providers and working towards integrating value-based contracting into the German system. Outside her professional life, she is a mother of four, an avid reader, podcast listener and producer, and a music enthusiast.
